Veterans Day Celebration 2023

We are currently planning the events for our 2023 Celebration of Veterans Day in Kinston. This year we have planned to have events for a weeklong celebration beginning on November 3 with the Tar River Community Band performing a free musical concert at 7 pm at the American Legion Post 43 building on McLewean St. A brick dedication service has been planned for 11 am on November 4 to dedicate the new bricks at the Walk of Honor on Herritage St. Events for the remainder of the week are being finalized at this time. However, the Salute! Tribute Show is confirmed to be held at the Kinston High Performing Arts Building on November 11 at 7 pm under the direction of Mary Beth Dawson. She is requesting assistance gathering veteran photos for a special performance during the show. If you would like to submit a veterans’ photo, please reach out to her at marybeth@danceetcstudio.com.
