The mission for the museum is to provide a place where veterans and the community will have an opportunity to share stories, heal wounds, and enjoy each other’s company
GI Joe’s Military Living History Museum is the home base for Salute! A Tribute to America’s Veterans. Located within the walls of the museum are displays that change, due to donations, on a constant basis. Each major war, from the Revolutionary to present are featured. The museum is staffed by volunteers and veterans. Come visit us and stay a while to chat with one or more of the veterans that visit daily.
Breakfast with a vet
Local veterans gather for coffee and conversation in the morning and are available as volunteers for visitors.
A Peek Inside
The little café area allows veterans and visitors an area to sit, relax and enjoy each others company. Sodas, coffee and snacks are available.
Women in the Military pays tribute to those women who have been at the forefront in the military and have paved the way for the women to participate as active service personnel.
